A short drive from Birtamod takes us to Bhadrapur where we get on a flight to Kathmandu valley. One of the main attractions of this Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek route is the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area which is the home for many wild animals, birds, and plants. It covers an area of around 2035 square kilometers and it preserves many endangered floras and faunas. This region is inhabited by the mixed communities of Sherpa, Rai, Limbu, and Gurung.
